DPW TO Observe Presidents Day

Sanitation and Parking Enforcement Services Suspended

 

The DC Department of Public Works announced today how services will be affected Presidents DayMonday, February 21, 2011, when the District observes the holiday.  Trash and recycling collections and parking enforcement will be suspended. All services will resume Tuesday, February 22, 2011

Illegal Dumping a Continual Nuisance

Illegal dumping seems to be one of the biggest ongoing problems in our community. The below photos are of the most recent dumping episodes at 208 Tst NE. These conditions are clearly deplorable and unacceptable. President, Michael Clark Sr. Has sent the email below to several DC agencies so the issue can be addressed immediately.

DPW Observes Memorial DayMonday, May 31

(Washington, DC)  The DC Department of Public Works (DPW) announced today how services will be affected in observance of Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2010.

Street sweeping will resume in scheduled, signed residential neighborhoods on Monday, March 22, 2010.
