Update On Early Morning Shooting In Edgewood

This morning, Monday, November 14, 2011, at about 2:20, a 21 year old man was shot and killed in the 500 block of Edgewood St., NE.

 

Homicide detectives are working on this case.  If anyone has any information about this shooting, or if anyone saw or heard anything around this time, we would like to hear from you.

Commander Greene, Today there was a shooting of a young man in the alley off the 100 block of Todd Place NE. This young man was on his summer job in his neighborhood working when he was approached by a gunman and shot numerous times. Gun Violence at 1807 3rd ST NE

This message was posted to the Eckington List Serv. Robberies have been a concern in the community for many years now especially during the warmer months. MPD has done a great job taking dome of these criminals off the street, but the community still needs to do there part to help deter crime.
