Edgewood Mural to be Unveiled Aug. 22

A platoon of young artists and students, under the guidance of professionals from around the United States, is hard at work this summer on a large-scale public art project near the Safeway store at 12th Street and Rhode Island Avenue NE.

Public Art Creates Community

(Washington, DC, August 5, 2009) - You are invited to come out and watch the District's largest public mural take shape. The Edgewood mural project team has started painting the 275-foot long wall that's two-stories high.
